Today I brought home 2 3-week old barred rock pullets and one Japanese black tail white bantam, unsexed. The much larger rocks are 'brooding' the little one. They will be joining my 7 3-week-old mixed pullets. If I knew whether the banty was a pullet or cockrell, I would get 1 or 2 more but I wont have more than one roo. Been there with disastrous results. Any suggestions?
