MOVING COOP WOES....HELP!

Don't you just love it when hubbies are "helpful"?

I would try fresh corn again.

Yeah, I didn't have the heart to tell him that I didn't want them out.

Tonight my hubby made one of your traps, using fencing that we had, however, Mr. Rooster is a Sebright and he can fit through some surprisingly small gaps...it was hilarious! As my husband and I are hi-fiving and congratulating our brilliance Mr. Rooster just causally steps thru the 3x3 gap...I'm pretty sure he flipped a wing-feather at us too!

Good news though I took the corn down just as I did last night and sat down but this time my hubby stood off to the side after trying to catch Mr. Rooster to deter him from going up the hill and they ALL went in the coop-VICTORY!


And today another hen started laying! Very small eggs though...hopefully they won't be small for too long.
