The other male is a lot more timid than him, mud does seem to rule the roost. I wonder how the lack of cleaning correlates to dominance..
Like I said, he isn’t getting in the pool because waterfowl usually mate in water. The dominant drake is probably keeping him out so he doesn’t mate with them.

He’s a sweetie, bless him. He’s attempted several times to mate on land and he just ends up tipping over, sliding down and off their necks 🤣 I’ll try adding another station of water and see if that makes a difference, thank you!
