our muscovy duck suddenly has developed red bald patches on its hind parts. Still eating, drinking, socializing with our other ducks. When I went to grab it to see if I could see any bugs (I could not) it threw up some watery mucous. Is there anything I should do? Is this deadly. Pooping fine also.

:welcome Any chance that aggressive drakes have been overbreeding it ?
Honestly I didn't even consider that. There's only the 2 muscovies and they're still relatively young. I'll try isolating it for a few days and see if it gets better. I honestly didn't even know which was female or male

On the picture, is this the duck's back? Is it a female? If so, possibly over breeding. At any rate, I see new feathers growing in so hopefully it will take care of itself.
Yea its the back end. Honestly I had no idea which was male or female. After hearing it could already being bred ive separated them for a few days and I'm hoping for a little improvement. Thanks so much. Such a relief
