Get proper feed and wipe her bum with a warm wet paper towel if it seems to be pasting up. Really I'd try to put her back with her flock, it's what's best for her.

I'll resay, I don't plan on keeping her. Shes activly eating the at-home mix that I was shown in this thread. It has mushed up greens, oatmeal, apples, and cooked egg.
I have 4 cats to care for as well, and I work from home, so I dont make enough to buy extra feed. If you'd like to make a donation, feel free, and ill give you my paypal. Ill give this little one an amazing home, but i just dont have the money for it.
Thats why im trying to keep her until I can find someone to care for her long term.

I tried a few times, but we have aggressive males here too, which they tried to pecked at her once they noticed her.
Shes also clearly a runt and much younger than the others. Im 100% sure shed end up getting caught up by a hawk. Ive seen it.
I would gladly take it if I was closer...I rescue Ducks here...Anyways...All the best to the Duckling and your efforts to relocate..
Muscovies are quite hardy, and there very popular in third world countries because they can live on just about any diet. Maybe add some mushed up dry cat food to it's diet?

You disagree about medicated feed VS unmediated but agree on un balanced diets...What gives?...Balance is needed for the baby to either thrive or survive..

I raise Muscovies, *many* of them, and I have brooder and broody raised them. Brooder raised ones fed medicated only feed actually gain weight and grow *much* faster (~2 times as fast) than broody raised. Muscovies are quite hardy compared to what I call "quackers" (Mallard derived breeds). Broody raised Muscovies can thrive with very little "duck/chick feed".
The OP has a limited budget, and I respect that. Ideally the OP would go to a feed store and buy a bag of food for duckling or chicks, and a niacin supplement, but that's not an option for many people. The duckling seems to be doing quite well eating the home brew, and it might benefit from having some dry cat food added, which will bump up the protein a little.
