Its all one big pen I am trying to get a bunch of hybrid pheasants so that's
why I put them in one big aviary.I think I need more female though.
The one second to the last is a lady amherst that is molting right now,his name is Fobeo.
just a side note for you, your mandarin duckling is a drake too.
Very nice set up though reminds me a lot of my old waterfowl aviaries. Have to agree though, watch those males, differnt species will be fine, but all your ruffed pheasants will likely fight at times, as will the longtails, longtails and ruffs usually are fine with each other. Just curious what's your plan when you mix breed these guys though??
if you breed the for intentionally purpose of mixes, please keep them as your own and do not sell them
being your birds, they are yours to do with as you please, but these types of birds arent meant for experiments, best kept pure as nature intended, but for God's sake lets dont start selling mutts to the public or the pheasant world will go down hill rapidly.
Just my view on it...
yea agreed with above please keep any and all pheasants sold to the public pure. keep as many pure or mixes as you wish but i ask please dont sell them or even give them away! work together to keep pheasants pure!
