Lentils
Here she comes to save the day. . .This popped out at me... *I think* legumes are not good for ducks??
I would just feed the chick starter, no other additives, until you get the Niacin... Brewer's yeast is a great way to add extra Niacin, just mix a Tblspn per cup of feed until 10-12 weeks old...
I would also give Nutridrench Poultry vitamins for a boost until you can get them the Niacin...

Rav. . what about all the seeds? Can they digest that without grit?
I'm wondering if the recipe the o p found online was meant for grown ducks outside. Anna duck. . I would lean more towards your well meaning homemade feed being the problem. It may have just taken a few days for it to build up. I would just feed them the chic starter. No, not without grit... and honestly, they don't need extras if they have a balanced feed... the only thing chick starter lacks for ducklings is the higher Niacin amount since they are deficient...
Niacin deficiency generally shows up as lameness in the legs and general leg issues...like shaky legs, not wanting to walk or stand a ton, etc.
So the one I was least worried about just died. The other one is doing good, I changed it's food, water, bedding and heat. I'm really upset about Eddie but at least I still have Patsy![]()
No it's a Mallard/Welsh Harlequin.Correct... but Niacin deficiency *can also* present with seizures... so can neurological issues...
@AnnaDuck22 are these crested ducklings by chance? Or jumbo Pekins? Please post pics if you can...
