No it's a Mallard/Welsh Harlequin.

Awww!! :love

Yeah, I would just give the chick starter, poultry vitamins to boost and add the Niacin when you get it... really hope Patsy improves... :hugs

Might want to look into seeing if you can get another duckling to keep her company once all is stable... singletons are difficult to raise... a small, stuffed animal for her to snuggle and an unbreakable mirror might help for now...

I will give her a teddy and mirror, I feel so bad and sorry for them :( I will get her a little friend as soon as I can. Thank you for all of the advice:love

At that age, barely bigger than sand is about the right size... you can filter the smaller pieces, rinse them well and use them though...

But, if you cut back to just chick feed for now, there is no need for grit... only if you give other treats... and right now I would definitely avoid all the seeds, just to be safe...

Just wanted to give an update, I have stopped giving all seeds and just giving the chick food. Everything seems to be ok and she is doing really well. She hasn't had any spasms since yesterday and she seems to be back to her normal self. My heart breaks for her because Eddie was the one she bonded to and I think she knew when it happend, she would go insane everytime I seperated them but has not since he passed. Working on getting her a new friend and I will do better with her and the new duckling. Thank you everyone for the help )
