so, just so i'm clear...on day 26 you stop misting and turning right...no more opening incubator AT ALL...right?

Just wanna know. I am a week away from that and I have such a habit now I am afriad I'll forget to stop turning....

Now I am impatient for friday.....even though they aren't my eggs

I stop misting when I see that the gosling is through the air sac. Then dont open the bator until the gosling hatches.

I have been quietly following this thread...I also have 2 Sebastopol eggs in the bator. I am on day 27 and my eggs are talking in their shell
I have hatched many chickens and a few ducks but this is my first hatching for geese. I have two sebastopols and I LOVE them...they are my babies

I have been nervously candleing them all along ....so when should I expect action? I cant see any pips but its possible its on the the bottoms of the eggs....Advise???

They should start to pip on day 28 but they also can take as long as day 30 to start. This is where you have to be very patient! It is nerve wracking for me when I get to this point. I am on day 27 here.

I have 4 on day 11. They are all fertile and active!!!! This is the first time I have ever dealt with hatching sebbies and I am a nervous wreck for some reason.
