well today is day 22 and i bought a new flashlight to candle and it is so much better...... i will try to take some pics when i candle tomorow.... even though the temp has been a little high (100 in a forced air) i think they might hatch around day 30 cuase they seem like they need a little more than 6 more days to go..... i stop turning on wednesday! i am so close!

today is day 18 for me....but I am really worried because last night when i opene dthem to cool them....i fell asleep before i closed the lid...luckily, myboyfriend woke up about 1 1/2 hours after I went to bed and said "is that supposed to be like that" and I about cussed and ran over and closed it ...so they were cooled for about an hour and a half....I didn't add any more water since I had already done that...but this morning, it was at a normal temp again..99.something

but i guess where some water evaporated or something, the humidity was only 44% or so and even though the temp was good this morning, i checked the recorded MAX temps and there are two and one was like 100. something adn the other was 103.something

I am praying that they are okay because of both problems..but my boyfriend took the flashlight with him to work today and I have no way of checking.....I hope nothing has happened...especially this close to the end

I had a power outage overnight a couple of days ago and the eggs cooled down to 86 degrees for I don't know how long. I candled this morning and two of the babies were kicking their little legs! Don't worry too much!

Lucky geese!!! I candled them and they are moving fine. They look so big in there....its like they went from veins to big blobs with big veins...I look at them thinking they are big enough to com eout but then I realize they are only 1/2 of the egg size and they need to be the entire egg size....

I can't wait...I am hoping and hoping....that I'll have a good hatch..

On a side note,...of the other new 4 eggs I have...I couldn't resist and I candled today (day 3) adn I could have sworn on one egg I definitely saw development...as I turned the egg under the light a speck moved with the yolk...now I am hoping it's not a bad speck...but I know its too early to tell...in two more days I should be able to see better....

so today is day 25 1/2..... i turned the turner off and cranked up the humidity tonight and when i candled and when i put them in the bator they were wiggiling... and even my brother saw so im pretty convinced im not crazy.... and i definantly felt movement while candling..... i am so exited... ineed all the good hatching vibes i can et for these babies!
