so glad you rescued it! The last 3 ducks I have gotten were from a lady I know. I have also gotten 3 cats from her. She has some chickens that I am hoping that one day she will call and ask if I want them. When I went to go get the last duck I told her I would be happy to take some hens sometimes if she ever wants to get rid of them sometimes. She has about 30 of them in this little area--- maybe 4x5 feet (including run area) They have very dirty water and get a handful of scratch plus scraps. They are a lot thinner than they should be. She was complaining that they haven't been laying very many eggs. Oh really! sheesh.

Last night @ the auction were some ducks, but they were all aduld and big ( Scovies and Mallards). So I don't feel good to get them, because I was scared that they kill One. The 2 pair aof Call Ducks where out my price range, they went for $ 30/ 40 the pair *sigh*. So little One is still with his rubber friend.

And now meet Bugger. Found him on Saturday @ a action and now ONE is not longer lonely

Any idea, what kind of duck Bugger can be?

Maybe a runner mix? The 4th pic looks like it is standing kind of upright. It will probably be easier to tell once it gets more feathers in. Sure is cute.

Looks so much happier out of that small cage from the first pictures! And Bugger i kinda agree with a runner mix. Maybe Runner X Pekin?

. But I don't trust them too much, so I seperate them, if nobody can watch them. They have their dogcrates site on site and can see each other. Now hubby has a plan to build a duck house and a run.
Because Bugger is quite vocal, my thought is, that he is partly Pekin and partly Runner.............and I still have no idea what my litte One is. Hs feet are kind of orange and his bill is 2 coloured and he is not talking so much than Bugger.
