We can't even think of planting till at least Mother's day. That's when we hope we can plant our garden. I've had to replant a few times cuz I was over anxious. Not fun. Your garden area looks nice, tho. Have fun planting.

Trish, that looks great!!!!!!

My veggie-herbal garden is a total mess right now. I didn't put it to sleep for the fall this year. Sometimes I like to look at the dried seed pods and it gives the wildlife something to snack on, but sure makes spring planting a pain. It's been either to cold or rainy to get it cleaned up.

So what kind of veggies are you going plant this yr? Are you going to plant some lavender or other herbs to put in your soap? Keep us posted on your project.

thats teasing we still have snow on the ground and all i want to do is get the garden going but alas we still have about 2 months to go before it really should go in
It looks really nice and can;t wait to see the pics with everything in it

Looking great!!! The look on Danny's face is priceless!!! I've seen that same look on Skip's face too many times to count!

Gave up my 24' by 20' garden plot to the chickens last year so I'm doing most of our veggies in large nursery containers. Will be planting peas, beans and squash around the outside of the cattle panel hoop run, though.

looks great wish i had soil with no rocks, that's why i use raised beds. I put tires upon the hill and filled with soil to plant my squash and pumpkins in since they spread.also sunflower seeds for the chickens. we plan on planting just corn down by the road for the chickens, esp since food had gone sky high at the co op:)

Close to half of that will be corn
We'll also grow:
Tomatoes
Potatos
Green Beans
Eggplant
Bell Peppers
Okra
Hot peppers
Squash
Zuccinni (spelling)
and a bunch of other stuff that I can't think of right now.

Today we seeded all the early spring crops in the garden: Lettuce, Mesclun, Carrots, Chard, Peas, and trimmed the rasberry patch a bit.

I just wish I had eggs !
