Since it is too cold for the old boi to go out and forage, I have been giving him tasty romain lettuce, and diced cucumber, pepper and other goodies.

He loves ripping into the lettuce, but is too much of a diva to break apart the harder stuff, so the diva gets the tougher veggies diced.

It is snowing!
Decided to show Scrappy the snow, he couldn't be out for too long due to the cold, but he seemed to enjoy it!

Now see one of the reasons i went ahead and kept anubis is cuz of the crazy pics and things i heard about scrappy, i wqs just trying for vutton quail, and anubis was going to be q xmas gift to someone they ended up not wanting him so i kept the lil runt and would hand raise him give him extra attention lip bugs and his own food and water every time he was out away from the others, now i have this thanks to scrappy's legend, thought you would like to know what scrappy's legacy has started lol

Happy 4th anniversary of owning Scrappy!

I celebrate all my birds' hatchdays, but I don't know the exact date for all of them (some I kind of had to guess ). It's a lot of dates to remember!

I don't but it seems my fiancée has memorized them and says its cuz they are our babies

I love these stories, but "old boi scrappy" post is probably bad for me since I was hoping to raise quail for meat and eggs.

As it is, I have grown unfortunately attached to two of my quail, the one you guys helped me save and her boyfriend who was moved from the dinner pail to become her companion.

I'm so conflicted. . .

I found a trick to get Lulu out the cage without chasing him around! Scrappy makes a good landing pad. XP
