My rooster laid an egg

I have 3 one lays a pink egg the other 2 both lay green eggs so I don't know where the blue eggs are coming from.

I had a white rock hen that crowed, layed everyday, but she would try and crow, seen a couple hens like that. There just "butch" hens I guess, lol.

OK lets make this a tad easier..How many birds do you have together in that coop?
Take photos of those birds and post them here--large whole body side shots.
We can tell you in about 1 minute what exactly you have as far as hens and roos-then we'll go from there. All I can tell you is that you have a rooster without hesitation and 100% no doubt!!! He is NOT laying that blue egg

Your sig says:
...3 mallard ducks, 4 EE, twin mixed roosters, 6 mix pullets

I think it's safe to say that you have other potential suspects.

x3 that's very possible, but then, why would he go in the box?

I have two roos that go into nesting boxes. They make nests for their girls and they will sit on eggs until their hens come back to lay--it is the sweetest thing. They cluck relentlessly until the hens check out what they are doing....It normal for them to do that but it doesnt happen with all roos....

I have had two roosters who do the very same thing.

Looks like an indisputable Roo to me. The egg must have been there already. My hens often shuffle eggs around and occasionally they'll shuffle one off to the very edge and every now and then I'll miss it until another girl jumps in and rearranges things.
