My scarecrow receives hate mail

I would rather my hateful neighbors had made a mooning scarecrow than the one they actually made; a straw man with a Rooster mask holding an axe!

But I have to admit that I have a good sense of humor and it really made me laugh by butt off!

I dont participate in Halloween, but that scarecrow was very creative! DH and myself got quite a laugh out of it. Hey, I got anonymous hate mail once because I didn't give out candy on Trick or Treat night. Cant please everyone!

Thanks again everyone!
I made the bum from one foam pumpkin from the craft store, I cut in half and screwed it together bottom half to bottom half. I had intentions of putting him up again next year maybe in a different pose!
As for the neighbors that like me they all said they would love to put up some themselves!!!
I'm thinking this person does indeed know me and wanted to hurt me by saying things about my parenting.
I thought the same thing about throwing me off by saying they don't drive that way and pointed out not having young children seems to obvious to me!!!
I did at first feel hurt, now a little angry.
I will leave it up, I was going to put a spot light on it so it was lit at night, but never got around to it! It would be a hoot if all the other neighbors put on up!!!
Thanks for making me feel better!

I don't participate in Halloween either. It's a personal choice, and I don't care if others
dress up and trick or treat, or go to parties. To each their own.

But I love the scarecrow! Too funny.

Showed talent and a sense of humor!
I have seen statues of children peeing (part of a fountain) as a public scene.

Which would I'd rather allow my children to see - the Scarecrow mooning!

The statue would get my children thinking it'd be alright to pee in public !!! (But, my children are older now).

I'm so glad my children are old enough now to know better!!
I've even shown my two youngest the pumpkin...they laughed at it!!!

???? You've got something against dressing up, scaring people and getting candy for it?!

Yes.

...But the scarecrow is funny and highly imaginative, which was my point.

I love you guys. No one is afraid to be different here and this is the most laid back and accepting forum I have ever belonged to.
