Standard of Perfection

Some people have a goal to show their birds in poultry shows and for that you need to be aware that they are judged by a rule of "standards" for size, color, posture, breast width and many more criteria. Some breeders work toward standard of perfection because they sell birds and other just like to raise the best that they can and others breed for certain traits that they prefer. One would be broad breast for eating. Serious breeder cull birds that do not meet their standards. To cull means they are removed from breeding program.

To locate stand of perfection for each breed, research the club or association that features that breed.

I believe that he is barred? Probably just carrying one barring gene though that is why he is not showing the crisp barring.
Mensa is carrying the barring gene from her dad he was barred. I still get a barred or red barred on occasion.
Is it possible that he is Mensa's?
