I took my daughters out for a girls day and tricked my 16 year old into trying fried calamari. She doesn't like seafood. My 14 year old loved it, knew what it was but we didn't tell my oldest daughter. She loves onion rings so I just 'knew' she would like it. She made the LOUDEST gagging sound possible, in a very nice, quiet restaurant. It was so bad a gentleman sitting at the table behind us jumped up with fear of what might follow the horrible sound...I was so embarrassed. She felt horrible too and just kept saying she was sorry...Her sister thought it was hysterical and loved the fact that she didn't like it because it meant more for her!Oh yes! Already have one very successful sneak snack- "onion rings"- calamari. That one surprises people so much, have won converts. Most won't ever try it again despite it being delicious to them.
It did backfire the last time- turns out that person person was allergic... she um, was 'on fire'(hint, had to use bathroom very frequently and was painful) for three days..... to this day any mention of squid or calamari in her presence gets a real nasty glare in my general direction....![]()

seems like a very nice well educated bunch here. Im sure you will find good people here. Im fully alone here in my country so forums like these are my only way to talk to others regardless of one chick or thousands of stock.
