As newbies to the crazy chicken world, our question might be stupid and probably is! Lol However, our rooster, Herald, has a naked patch on his chest and we don’t know if that’s okay or normal or what!! We have had to treat him for several issues since he was given to us a little over a month ago but he should be the picture of health now and suddenly this appears out of nowhere. He doesn’t seem in the least bit bothered by it and seems perfectly healthy otherwise. Do rooster molt as well as hens?? (This is our first rooster! Lol) Thanks in advance for any advice and information!

Definitely not a stupid question! Roosters molt just like hens.
I think its just looks like he is molting:thumbsup

ps; I love his name:D
Awwww thanks!! He “talks” a lot and I said his name should he Herald instead of Harold because he “heralds” in the dawn, and midday, and dusk and just generally likes to share the news of how great he is with the general public all the time!! We are sure the neighbors are thrilled!! Lol
