I have this baby chick that can’t walk. I’m not sure if it’s deformed or just because it hatched last night. Please help! Video won’t upload but it’s feet are a little folded under and it kind of just sits on its butt and scrapes the ground

I would give some save a chick packets of electrolyte and probitotic and scramble some eggs for them. Maybe just give it a day or 2. Hope all goes well.

They sometimes will respond to chick vitamins, such as SaveAChick, Poultry Cell, or PolyVisol without Iron. Pictures are helpful.

You’re doing the correct treatment now. After a few days (3-5 days) take the sandals off and if the feet are not fixed, repeat. It looks like curled toe, also i recommend a bedding that isn’t so slippery, such as pine shavings.
