@biophiliac Can't wait :D!!
Should i start assisting again? I let him be because i could see blood vessels but its been around 30 hrs now :/
You can peel back more shell...as long as you dont get into any blood vessels keep going a little at a time. Peel a small amount and put him back to maintain his body heat then wait a bit and do more.

I have never tried to hatch pigeon eggs with an incubator. I imagine your toughest times are ahead of you. Good ways to feed squabs have already been noted above, but I'll say I have never had much luck trying to feed any of my squabs that appeared they needed food, but that may just have simply been because they really didn't need food from me. Anyways, just make sure you use something with digestive enzymes until they're about 4 years old, which Kaytee Exact does have, so you should be in good shape. If feeding through some slit in a glove or bag doesn't work, be prepared to inject it into their crops somehow. After 4 days of age, there is nothing wrong with continuing with something like Kaytee Exact with digestive enzymes, as the digestive enzymes will not cause harm. I would imagine they'll need their crops filled 3-4 times a day. I think crops should only be filled when they are completely empty, and then only fill them about 75%. I'm unsure when solid food can be incorporated, but I bet you can find that out pretty easily.

Without adult pigeons, these fellas are going to imprint on you. I'm not sure whether there will be unintended consequences with raising baby pigeons from eggs without adult pigeons, but I would just try to keep any unintended consequences in mind. Luckily, they do make nice pets so long as they have at least one pigeon companion.

Best of luck! Keep us posted!

Thank you for the great information @LamarshFish ! Yeah im trying to be as prepared as possible!! Im not working just now either so the pigeons will have my undivided attention :) i hope my other egg hatches and they will have company! I know whay you mean about one being lonely so i am keeping my fingers crossed :D

Even though it is likely warm where you are, you might want to get some kind of warming pad under the nest bowl you plan to put them in.
