Nevadans?

I love the head!  They're so cute!

This was my project this week.  I heard there was a pumpkin decorating contest at our church trunk-or-treat tomorrow.  I took that as a challenge.  Sahara is cooking for the chili cookoff.

Wow, look at all this talent on here tonight. Love the orange canvas with the beautiful blue, fall sky.

Just wanted to chime in and say, This is simply beautiful! Hope you at least get placed... I absolutely love this! Much better than a carved Pumpkin and less mess.

Duh missy that looks amazing! You shoulda posted all the pics! It goes all the way around. AND there's a rooster!

Hey guess what... Mama is back with general population today. She's healing so quickly!

Nice job on the costumes and that gorgeous pumkin! I love talented people.

I'm in a funk these days. First Makayla is elegible for GATE, but her school doesn't offer it. Was going to switch schools. Then, she's been going through Hell with some of the kids at school and in the neighborhood. 14 year old boys are harrassing her and calling her aweful names. First week of school there was a boy that was constantly bullying her during recesss. Her teacher has gone through lots of training and working with an anti bullying program. She loves Makayla. That kid may drive me nuts at home, but at school, she is an excellent student and her 2 teachers so far have said that she is a joy to have as a student. Her kindergarten teacher absolutely loved her. Anyway, this week it's gotten to the point that she won't even go outside to play and the parents of these mini gang bangers do nothing about their kids. I'm sitting here texting one of my daughters who moved back to Union City from Brentwood, so that her daughter could go to the same high school most of my kids went to. The area we lived in was great and I do miss the area, but I really needed more space. Friday after Halloween, we're going to Union City and enroll Makayla in school there. I want her in a better lace until I have something somewhere else, but Bill had my daughter bring her to us when she was 10 months old. My daughter basically lives here, but she's out of state a lot and it's always been mostly me and Bill raising Kayla. I'm starting to go through withdrawls already. I know she'll be in the best place and that we'll miss eachother. I'll have her a lot of weekends and all the holidays, but..............ok, crying time hit.

Aubrey, that's wonderful!!!!

Thanks, everyone. The contest is going to include a lot of children, so if someone wins because of cuteness and I don't place at all, I won't have hurt feelings whatsoever.
Here's the rest:
