Nevadans?

Elizabeth I would love to give happy homes to the Ameraucanas! Jersey giants or RIR are going to have to wait until next year, since I can't find hens and I have been forbidden from any more broody experiments. Garage is supposed to be the man cave.

Fifteen years ago when we moved out were we are there was 3 houses...now the street in front of us has houses all the way to the lake. The only good thing is it is all 5 acres apart. So glad no one behind us...my husband likes to make noise. He works on motors for model airplanes...has compressors for air...and just likes to make noise. No one has ever said anything about our chickens, because some of the neighbors done the way have...horses...a dokey...geese...and chickens. So they don't worry much about my little 8 girls....love love love it out here. The only complaint I have is we are not out here alone anymore.

Congratulations to you and your family, Kim!

Tyler is on his way to Oklahoma. He left Reno around 6pm tonight. He's giving me updates to share on BYC until he's back online.

Seth, how did your rabbits do at the show? We got the red doe after all.

This is the red doe we got at the rabbit show. She's 10 weeks old, and an absolute sweetheart. Though Sahara was a huge part of the decision, we made it clear that this was MY doe that she would use for 4-H. If she stays dedicated to 4-H for an entire year, we will buy her whatever show rabbit she wants.

Does anyone local want ducklings? We can't discuss price on this thread, but if you PM me, we'll discuss something lower than what I put on Craigslist. (If you slip them under a broody hen, she will raise them. I have proof out in my baby pen.)

And this is MOST of the ducklings hatched for one of my clients. We weren't sure of the hatch rate for ducklings in an incubator used for chickens, but I guess it was just fine. 50 eggs were set... 41 hatched. There's still time for the other 9 to hatch, but they could be duds. (The client needed 6 ducklings.)

I met Tyler today!  It was awesome finally seeing him in person.
While I was at the Grand Sierra, I also walked past a Furry convention, a high school prom, a carnival, and accidentally got on the escalator behind a guy wearing a kilt.

Then I went to see Sheryl, who could really use some prayers and/or good thoughts right now.

Um... Aren't we forgetting one more important event from today?

Sheryl! I hope you get some answers and help right away! Wishing you better health soon! HUGE HUGS!!!

This is exactly why I moved out to the desert and live on 10 acres at the far end of Dayton!

I hear ya!

Sounds like a party!!! ROFLMAO

Hahaha!

Good luck Tyler!

Kim that's AWESOME!!!
