I have a hen setting about 40 foot up a tree. She somehow decided she liked an abandoned squirrel nest. Has anyone else seen this before? I have a video of her going back on the nest but I'm not sure how to share it. I figured it out. Here is the link.

I think i would climb up get her and the nest put the whole kit and caboodle in my dog crate till they hatched.
Well that is a lie. I mean i would have my grandson climb up and get it. He and his sister are part squirrel i think. Always sitting in a tree somwehere. Doing God only knows what.

I keep checking in for news....I hope this comes out well. That chicken is so dedicated at the very least.
I hope the babies make it somehow and you can get everyone down. Is there any way you could call a tree service and explain what is going on? Some goodhearted 'tree man' might be willing to get up that tree and get the hen and nest. You could then confine her alone with the nest and everyone would have a better chance.

If she doesn't come off the nest soon its safe to assume the eggs weren't viable or something ate them.Sure would be nice to have a camera with zoom lens to see the nest.
