Never in 43 years!!! Amazed!!!

Do you have any way to get up there? Do you have a 40'ft extension ladder or know someone how does? I'd climb the ladder (and bring a rope to tie myself off to the tree with once up there) and also bring up a bag to put the hen in and lower her to the ground with a rope to someone waiting for her then collect the eggs in a padded pouch and get yourself down.
Do you have any idea how far along the eggs are? Do you have or know someone with an incubator?
I'd set that nutso tree hugger up in a crate with fake eggs and bator her eggs then give them to her when they hatch.
Yes, to everything! That hen should NOT be up there with babies coming. Their chances will be nil, and it's just crazy!

I have a hen setting about 40 foot up a tree. She somehow decided she liked an abandoned squirrel nest. Has anyone else seen this before? I have a video of her going back on the nest but I'm not sure how to share it. I figured it out. Here is the link.
@Shadrach you will enjoy seeing this video I think

Looks like a tough spot for even a human to get to. There could even be wild bird’s eggs in the nest!
I have so many ideas running thru my head, but in the end, I would probably just wait and see what happens. If one falls/jumps out and survives the fall, she may go to its aid and abandon the others, or she may stay with the others and the chick will be left alone.
Hopefully it’s in a place that you can monitor closely and often. Best of luck!

And thanks for sharing! I’m anxious to see the outcome, as everyone is!

We'll be interested to see what happens. I think there's a good chance chicks will survive the fall. They're very light and do flutter their little wings when jumping from a height, helping break the fall. Chicks bones are soft and do not snap easily. Also the ground is somewhat cushioned with old fallen leaves and what not. It will be a leap of faith and I hope for the best.
