They look like Indian runners. You can tell by the way they stand the tend to stand more straight up and down.My favorite breed. These are tho ones I got last year.View attachment 1308730

They don't seem to stand straight up and down unless they're looking at us. Lol. Im not sure. Maybe tho.

Now would be okay Just as long as you make sure they dry off throughly, its very important they don't get cold with water on them. So Id say give them 5 minutes for their first swim? Then take them out dry with with a towel and get them under their lamp

Love your little Pekins!!! I’m with Miss Lydia, 3-4 days old in the picture. So sweet! Be prepared for them to eat and drink a ton. They grow so much faster than other breeds.

When can you let them swim?

I was told 1 to 2 inches of water which is more for them to bathe in than to swim for now. They will love it.
I actually didn't dry mine off. Oops. I just put them back in the brooder. They took care of everything else.

I personally don’t dry them off unless the room temp is cold. I kinda figure they will groom themselves that way and spread their oils around more.

My ducklings are in a heated building that stays 60. I don't even know if they need the heat lamp as they pretty much stay out of the area. I am putting them in a bigger booder today so they will have plenty of room to be in or out of the heat lamp area if they choose.
