new babies

So I have two 16 week old silkies, and one bantam brahma (same age)..... I really want to add some lav orpingtons/lav cochins to this little group!!!! Would they accept the new babies and raise them you think? Or would I need to keep them separate for several weeks and then integrate?? I've heard what wonderful mothers silkies can be, so I wasn't sure since they are still so young if I could just add to the flock or if that wasn't safe!!!

No. The birds have to be broody to raise chicks
