Heeelooo!

I thought I introduced myself but apparently not! Forgive me!

Hubby - K - and I - A - adopted 4 Sapphire Gems & 1 Barred Rock at the age of about 5 weeks. They hatched on/or about March 4, so according to the calendar they are 9 weeks old but even K who has raised chickens before thinks they are a bit big and look close to 12!

Anyway, I love them all (along with our pups & cats - and wildlife) and really hope to give them full lives. I've already posted on here about our shoop (shed that became a coop) and love all the help & camaraderie! I hope I can be of some help someday!

I'll upload as many photos as this will allow me!

And, yes, I've named my birds:

Millie, she loves to be held
Poe, she looks like a raven
Roxy, our Barred Rock who is bossy
Dove, who has feathers like a 🕊
And Violetta, shy and walks very cautiously.
