Nice little brooder.

I personally have never seen that type of waterer used for chicks.
How is it working out?


Too me its doesn't look like they are huddled up under the light...could you move it, the light, over..closer to one side so that it is not so much in the middle of the brooder...to allow them more of an area to get away from the light?

This is the food I am using, it is kind of big so I grind it up

It already is over, I figured that out when they were on the sides of the brooder, today is kind of cold so they are closer to the lamp

What breed of chicks did you hatch?

They didn't understand the water bottle so I gave them a water dish

Um one is unknown, one is a barred rock, one is a production red mix

Did you only incubate 3 eggs?
