Looking for Rooster(s)

Just posted this on Craigslist, thought I'd try here, too.

WANTED: Free rooster(s) (Sandown)

Looking for free full-size rooster or roosters (1 or 2), to help keep my hens safe and ensure fertile eggs for hatching. Not bantam, sorry; within 15 or 20 miles of Sandown, NH - down as far as Haverhill MA, over to Deerfield, potentially as far as Portsmouth or Concord. Must have a good temperament. Mean roosters will be eaten.

Breed not important, and I actually don't mind paying a little; mostly needs to be good temperament, large-size bird(s). My hens are a mix of breeds anyway. I just got back from the barn where my rooster attacked me for the second (last) time. I know what we're having for dinner this weekend.

I have 2 VERY nice Blue Laced Red Wyandotte cockerels. Direct from Sterling. They are about 14 weeks old, sweet boys. They need their own girls.

Also have 3 half Leghorn half Birchen Marans cockeres 22 weeks.

What breeds are you interested? The ages are from hatch to 4 weeks old.

Awe thanks! It was so nice to meet you. Wish I did not have to rush back to the office. We'll be in touch now that we know we are neighbors!

Ps...my daughter who is turning 14 is always looking for babysitting jobs . She as two babysitter certifications.
