Does anyone know of anyone who would like some young bantam roos? I got a hatchery order and ended up with quite alot of roos. I'm not sure of the specific breeds, it was an assortment and they're only about 4 weeks old. Hoping there's someone who would want some.

Hampton - Does anyone know where I can get Silkie chicks locally?
You could try Tiny Hill Farm in Milton Mills, They have a facebook page and a web site. Her chicks are very well taken care of. I got my bantam Ameracunas from her last year. Her name is Larissa. and she works in Hampton and will deliver. She does have silkies for 2013.

My trio of Sebbies turned out to be 2 ganders and one goose... well the odd gander out is being mistreated. Is there anybody in the NH area that has a spare young sebbie goose they would consider selling me... or trading for hatching eggs from the pair I have once they start laying or... I have English BBS Orpingtons .. chicks, hatching eggs, a young pair??? I don't want him to be alone... there is safety in numbers :) Prefer white... but would consider any color sebbie goose for him.

my mom has a lone sebbie female, but she is pretty attached to her and she gets along with the other geese so i doubt she would part with her. if you get eggs though my mom would be interested in hatching out some, just paying you outright for eggs.

Thank
Blue Seal has non-medicated chick starter I believe. And they also have organic feed. Tractor Supply should also sell non-medicated chick starter. If you are having your chicks vaccinated for coci, then the medicated feed won't hurt them, it would just nullify the vaccine but the medicated feed itself will do the same thing. I prefer *not* to get them vaccinated for cocci myself and just use the medicated feed.

Thanks, OtterD!
