Roosters?

[/IMG]I would like to rehome them if they are. My kids are al ready attached. We can't have roosters here. They are 11 weeks and have huge attitudes.

My Cuckoo Marans is the bird in question, (bottom right).
Between 16 and 21 weeks old. The bird does not seem to be that high in the pecking order (all my birds get along well usually) but this Marans is usually the first bird to chase off the cats if they start going around the coop.

Cockerel. No question.
 
I agree, it's definitely a cockerel. Seeing that sequence of photos of it's development is really interesting. It's just hard to believe that that middle photo is the same bird. As you say it is clearly male 2 months ago and then 3 weeks later, it really does look like a pullet, but those hackle feathers in the current photo coupled with the very light barring and sickle feathers growing in and the lean mean look of it mean it can't be denied any longer.
