Help! The temperature is not reaching 99.5 where the eggs are! I have to thermometers in the incubator and they are both reading 98 How do I fix this?

Help! The temperature is not reaching 99.5 where the eggs are! I have to thermometers in the incubator and they are both reading 98 How do I fix this?

First off, is the secondary thermometer calibrated?
If it's calibrated properly, where is the thermometer placed inside the incubator? Is it stationary or rotating around the incubator with the turner?
There will be hot and cold spots in all incubators but one of the nice things about NR360 is that the automatic turner rotates all the way around the incubator and makes up for those hot and cold spots.
Also, the temp should be taken from the top of the eggs. That's why old fashioned incubators used to come with those clear ruler looking thermometers that you could lay across the top of the eggs.
I normally placed my thermometer on top of the turner tray but throughout the incubator I usually got anywhere from 98F-99.5F.
