NY chicken lover!!!!

I feel weird having my real name be my avatar name ( or whatever it is) I think I'm going to switch it. I hope it doesn't mess anyone up.

New day time pics.

There was a bale of hay where those blocks are. They've scratched it for the entire 24' long run.

It really was quite peaceful. There is a path around the coop, so I make the circle each morning and night. The lights on the garden are pretty under the snow.

Can spy the pink Flamingos?

I cannot wait to get my ducks outside. Just need a couple of warmer days and I can possibly move them to the shed with the silkies. The older ducks may still trample them at this point.
I was just talking with DH about that. They are outgrowing the brooder that they are in. Not sure where to put them. I am hoping to get the frizzles out with the others, then maybe I'll use the small mini coop for them. Or I may just build the new duck hut next week and move them in there, but I'll have to make sure where ever I move them to that they'll have a lamp. So looks like I will need to by a second lamp. The chicks will have to say in the house for a while longer. Maybe I'll put them on the back porch..Not sure what I'm going to do yet.

Me either. Though I do have plans to build them a special coop. Temp I'll put them in with the chickens. I have no idea what I was thinking getting them this early.

I'm planning on doing that too eventually. I'm hoping to build them a hoop coop this summer.

OK, this is Fredo. Have you EVER, I mean EVER, seen such a gorgeous bird? He's amazing! Handsome too! He's the smooth sizzle. He makes an adorable little crow at 6:15 am every couple of days. Just had to share this pic of our beautiful baby! He loves us to pet him and he's very snuggly! This was the bird that couldn't walk and needed physical therapy every few hours for a few days, until he was able to stand. Now he's walking, flying, happy! This pic was taken while we were cleaning his kitchen coop. He is so darling!
He is so cute! Looks like you are doing a good job with him.

New day time pics.

I love them. Maybe next year I'll be able to get a few. I'd love to have 2, but I'll have to wait till I have a little more room.

Lindsay, We have two cameras in our Barn. We can watch our Chickens on our TV.
Beats nist TV programs. Regards, Aria
Chicken TV is the best!

My chicks had a close call this afternoon. The power went out - I discovered it about an hour after it went down, so I had to build a fire in the stove and go get the little things. 2 of them were very quiet, eyes closed, feet icy cold - so I tucked them into my trapper hat and put them in front of the fire. After about 10 minutes I started to hear peeps - phew!! Bonnie Beagle was guarding them in this photo....... The little darlings were so grateful, they left several small deposits in my hat...

Ginger cat was fascinated by the noises coming from my hat......... anyway, powers' back up and they are safely back in the brooder. I think poor Henrietta is destined to have an interesting life.......

Can someone explain to me how this works. I' m looking at Pineapple corers on Ebay. Some are as low at $3.26 free shipping, from China, but some are as high as $117.99. They look to be the exact same thing. What gives?

The all look to be "Flagship" brand and the "as seen on TV" Item.
