Whoever offers to host us, I am grateful. I think it is nice to see other people's solutions, and as a former travel hockey/lacrosse mom, usually I can get where I decide to go. Thank you to everyone who is considering hosting!

So.....my drive to work was 55F, sunny, with a double rainbow, green grass on the fields. The ride home 6 hours later was snow squalls, 30F and the wind howling like a banshee - ahhh! NY weather!![]()
Metella - would love to come visit with you for chickenstock!
It was sure a CRAZY weather day!! I got my coop cleaned while there were some light rain showers followed by sun and 49F. It felt warmer to me, maybe because I was breaking a sweat....BUT...shortly after the neighbors invited us over to have a beer on their deck, the winds switched direction from the south and came barreling down from the NW while the thermometer dropped like a rock. Must be winter in CNT!
Tomorrow night's going to be ridiculously cold. I hate when we get single digits or below 0. Worry about the girls out there in the coop........

Well now don't worry. My birds in the wooden coop are worse off than those in these half hoops with lots of air. I've got two del pullets who are sick and I think it's the coop!! I've got them separated of course. I think the wood holds to much moisture. Of course the ventilation could be better.
Oh and another panel of fencing blew off.![]()
