I needed it too... I'm still trying to assess my differently mottled birds in my project. I need to read this thread a few more times to get it through my skull! lol

I read through this, and I think I'm right to ditch that one pretty mottled hen of mine instead of trying to get into breeding these. Good luck with yours, though!!

I have many other varieties of silkies I can focus on that will cause me headaches as it is. I love them though, so maybe someday I'll try again.
