at 100.5 I have a faster hatch, at 97 I have a higher hatch percentage. hatching 12 hours early verses having twice as many chicks hatch. I am currently at 98 and happy with that.

Alright maybe I should tern it down a little. It's harder to read a mercury thermometer but it's just above the 100 mark.

I tern them three times a day correct?

about 3 times a day, I lose track as to how many times I turn them, sometimes I do it twice a day and sometimes I do it 4 times a day. So far it has worked out for me

Incubator set! 8 Ayam Cemani, 8 Dominiques, 4 Dark Egg Projects (Production Red type of birds selectively bred for dark eggs, long time project of mine) 18 Naked Neck Project birds, 5 Serama. On the side 8 Silver Leghorns, I keep side eggs that I turn myself to replace eggs in the turner as they die.

There is a chance that some of the dark brown eggs may be from my Cuckoo Maran but her eggs are not always as dark so I do a good job of weeding hers out, but if one of those are her eggs it will be a Black Sex Link.

What kind of incubator do you have? Do you have good results? It looks like it fits a lot!

I currently have 4 Silkie eggs under a broody! (So no pictures from me!).
Funny story, the hen moved nesting boxes when 2 of them were on day 4, and when I came out to coop that night they were cold... but I decided to give them back to her and give it a shot! Turns out those little embryos were strong and I candled them today and they are alive and well on Day 11!
So for me, two eggs are set to hatch on October 11th, and two eggs on October 13th/14th!

I have a Hovabator, not sure the exact model. It took me a while before I had good results but that was operator error not Incubator error. I ended up adding an egg turner and a fan kit. Its supposed to handle 42 eggs but I had about 45 last hatch. 80% hatch rate in that hatch. It was a bit crowded when I took them out.

Could be differences on thermometer.
