Dont get panicky yet. I dont like to remove eggs before day 10 for clears, unless its s definite blood ring.
I'm not removing any, I've just been checking the same two every day just to see the difference. One has twins, which I feel bad about because I didn't know it was double yolker. I compared them to fresh eggs and there's definite development.

I just compared my eggs in the incubator to just a fresh egg I got out of the coop... Saw the air sacs and definite egg development...

My twin egg has two developments for sure. My husband was like WOOOWWWW when I showed him.

That is fantastic! I'm so happy about that! There will be more to see on day 4 if you choose to candle that often.

I candled every egg once on day 4 to see if blood vessels, and then after that I only candled a different egg each day to see if things were moving in generally the right direction. Most advice not to candle daily, I will probably follow that in the future but I didn't know.

I'm only doing it to two different eggs once a day, but today was my last day checking every day. I'm waiting now until day 7 and I'll be doing them all to see which aren't developing. Then I'll wait until day 14 to check them again then it'll all be a surprise from there.

Isn't it amazing? My grandkids love to see movement. They're in awe that they can see a shadow swimming around inside.

He has never seen egg incubation, I have seen ostrich eggs and those took my breath away. I wish the twin egg would have two chicks, but I know only one will make it out.

#HatchDay Round 3 for me. I love how the hens look down at their chicks when I take the picture. :love
