Doodle, sorry to hear about your aunt. I hope you and your family find peace in your memories of her.

Aren't ya'll suppose to be getting more snow today? What part of NJ do you live? I grew up in South Jersey, in Cumberland County

sorry for your loss

I'm in south jersey right now at school, but normally I live in northern jersey. I go to school in Atlantic county.

We've been getting some snow on and off today and they actually cancelled classes even though it hardly did anything. The ground is really warm so nothing is sticking. It's supposed to get worse tonight and my classmates are calling for no classes tomorrow either. I really hope so! I have so much stuff to do and I'm just plain worn out. I haven't seen my pets in almost two months and I need a horsey hug! That always makes me feel better.

I'm sooo tired of the snow though. It definitely needs to turn to spring and SOON!

Currently I'm at Stockton. I really love this school, but I'm sooo tired of school work! Sometimes I wish I could run away from responsibility too, but I only have one year left. Then I have the challenge of finding a job or determining if I'm up for MORE school!

Arizona State was actually a school I wanted to look into when I was first applying. I LOVED Arizona when I visited there, but it was just too far from home and with the price of plane tickets I would never be able to come home during breaks.

Are you in North Carolina or South? I'll be visiting North Carolina for spring break this year to help with Habitat for Humanity. I can't wait! It will be my first time in North Carolina and I hear its beautiful there.

I recommend you live it up girly.

North Carolina is beautiful. Even the cities take pride in how they look. Where are you doing the Habitat building? I'm west of Charlotte.

I was accepted to Stockton but my first year out of high school I spent a lot of time in the hospital for surgeries. Broke my neck my Sr.Year and spent the next year getting it fixed. I was driving to school in the am and was hit from behind by 2 cars.

I spent my Spring Breaks in Mexico, I think. I do have a few pictures but this is a child friendly site, lol.

Boyd would you believe I have only been to the beaches in NC and SC only a couple of times in the 19years I have lived hear. Emerald Isle twice and Charleston once, last Halloween to be exact. I have never been to Mrytle Beach which seems to be that place where Spring Break occurs. I've gotten old and boring. Give me a mountain lake, my kayak, my dog and a couple of trees to tie my hammock too and I'm happy.

Sorry to hear about your neck Coyote! That seems like a rough senior year.

I'll be doing habitat for humanity in a place called Rocky Mount. I'm not really sure which part of NC its in, but I'm imagining its somewhere int he northern part of the state. I think we'll be on the road about 10 hours from NJ.

Usually I spend my spring breaks home and this is the first year I won't be. I'll miss my animals, but I'm happy to be going to NC with some good friends, even if its for community service and not party! LOL

Boyd, I've heard the Carolinas have some of the nicest beaches around. My dad keeps talking about heading down there some year, but I think TN is going to be our next vacation trip. I haven't been on vacation in a looong time, so I could not care less where we go! LOL NJ has some nice beaches, but you really have to hunt for them. My favorite are the hiking beaches, because at certain times there is never anyone at them. They are typically very clean and you can find a TON of shells and sea glass. Those are the perfect places for laying out a towel and watching the sun set!

Rocky Mount is on the eastern side of the state, a few hours outside of Richmond, Va.

I grew up playing on the beaches of Ocean City and Avalon in Nj. Sometimes a few of the smaller beaches on the Deleware bay side of NJ

Tenn is beautiful too. Nashville, Knoxville, Severville, Pigeon Forge. Jonesboro!! The Storytelling capitol of the world! But you've got to take the backroads! That's where all the real people, culture and adventure is. We had a rule on our vacations growing up. We could take the Interstates to where we are going BUT take the backroads when we come home. We always added and extra day to our travel plans just so we could explore the backroads.

Ok, I'm old. Big ol' I-95 was just being built when I was a kid. We spent a lot of time on US 301. A lot of the quaint little places that used to be are no longer now that I-95 is finished.

Have fun on your trip!!
