Wow you all are a talkative bunch today. Cool, way cool!!!
Love the pics especially the ones of the hawk. B-E-A utiful!!!
Just want to say how excited I am, tomorrow I go pick up the DD in Fort Worth. So glad she is coming home for the holidays. Just goes to show, if your a persistent, strong willed mama you get what you want, military or no military.
So I must admit I am jonesing for an auction something fierce. Maybe next Thursday I will go to the Maud auction again if they are having one. That will have to do. Guess the next auction isn't until January 7 in Newcastle. So loooong away.
So I am still looking for a white ameraucana rooster if anyone has a good natured fellow like the other three I have they are willing to part with. Let me know, one of my none chicken friends has offered to get one for me as a present if I can find one. Everyone in my family thinks I am hard to shop for, which is totally silly. Chickens.... Duh!

Oh yeah I have a question. Can seramas get fat? I think Boo is getting fat, his chest is looking like he is getting a beer belly or something. Maybe more like a beer chest (hahaha!). Maybe I just need to let him run around more outside his cage. Fat chickens no bueno!

well...........my DD just called............she has made it to the next match...........BUT coach is concerned that she might make "dude" uncomfortable wrestling a girl. My kid is NOT a gender when on the mat........I find this very frustrating! I see where young men might not know the whole "who/what/when/where"..........but only if that is how their coach presents it! Wrestle...........or don't

Well had a pretty neat thing happen this eve while deer hunting. Didn't see any deer but had 9 bobwhite quail walk up under my stand. They stayed around for about an hour looking for seeds. Thought it was kinda neat. First time Ive ever had quail under my stand. Ive had coyotes bobcats raccoons skunks hawks owls turkeys pigs and even a few foxes but never quail. They were really fun to watch.

Just put 22 eggs in the incubator today. KO Shamo and asil bantam. I will see if my little cheap styrofoam bator works better for me then the one I had built last year. Wish me luck.
