Chipmunk is my son’s chick, and I love her leopard like markings on her face.

Sundae is one of the few light colored chicks from the batch of 10 Easter egger chicks we got from the natural pet center, and I kept her because all the other chickens we have are darker in color so I thought shed be a nice change of pace.

And, finally, little Derp. She’s been a problem since the day I brought her home, and I didn’t think she’d survive the night, but she rallied and looked great for the first week. Now she’s developed cross beak, and of course she’s my very favorite of all the chicks I have had this season. I’m going to do my best by her, and hopefully she’ll be able to get enough food into her to thrive.
