They are easy to raise, hard to get hatched. I have a lot that are late quitters, and their fertility isn't all that great. They need more space than Cots or Bob's, this has been my experince with them...yours or other peeps may differ....also it seemed the males were more aggressive than other species of quail.Wow! thanks! There were 7 of them.. counting the one who didn't make it, it had nervous system issues.Cute chicks! It's sweet to see them lined up by their mama.
Someday, I'd love to have the property and resources to raise different species—but for now I'll settle for admiring everyone else's work.
