Hello folks. I'm unable to make it to this round of Meet-up. However anyone in the Portland/Vancouver area interested in a young Porcelain D'uccle I am offering a young Rooster for Free. He is beautiful but can't keep him in city limit's, I posted an ad on cl too. I sure hope you all have a wonderful time at the swap...Enjoy

In the spring it will be up your way so I hope to see you again then! Good luck with the D'Uccle. If anyone wants him down this way, I would be happy to pick him up and deliver him early next month for you. I will be up that way looking at colleges with my daughter the first and second weeks of October.

Thanks zoomummzy. I'm sad I won't be making the meet-up, but it's a bit of a drive for me, and right now the only extra I have is this little D'uccle. Hopefully with the free over his head he'll find a home.

Hey there! I have had a woman named Michelle contact me and she needs to get rid of a few roos. Here is what she said in her email:

Yes, pets only preferred. I have 2 buff lace 1 silver lace and 1black splash for the polish. The silkie is a white bearded. They are show quality. One of the buff lace has VERY long legs and stands VERY erect almost like a runner duck but after looking in my standard breeds show book that is what they are supposed to look like i guess. I also have a black and orange standard cochin that is soooo sweet and a year and a half old that could use a good home with a flock of his own. All of my chickens are free range and roost in the hen house where they are locked up at night. They are around dogs, goats, horses, and cats and are very used to people. I live in Roseburg and would love to get rid of them before the swap if possible.

If any of you are interested please let me know! Also, she wants to know if anyone knows about caponizing (sp?) roosters.

Zoomummzy, I am just dying for a good cheese cake. Is there anyway you could make a crustless one? I can't have gluten.

And what would you charge?

That list keeps getting longer, and it just makes me want one of everything... or two... or three..........sigh. Sooooo many chickens!

Hi all!! I'm hoping to be able to make it! I'm looking for a BLRW and Speckled Sussex, females, prefer young adult but will do chicks if necessary!

I never have but I have a couple recipes - one is crust free, the other has a crust of nuts and oats (quick oats). I can give it a try if you want and which one would you like? I am selling all the cheesecakes for $10...or you can take a rooster
