Not sure where to put this but next weekend my parents and I are going to the race in in Talladega AL and wondering if anyone knows of any real good places to eat we are staying in Calera. Also if any ideas to do before the races the truck race doesn't start til later sat so we have part of friday and sat to kill.

1 piece of advice... plan on getting to the track at least 3 hours early, traffic is that bad!

Don't go to Desoto Caverns in Childersburg! It is so overpriced it's insane. Not sure about the mileage, but there is a museum in Anniston that is quite interesting.I'll try to come up with some better ideas! Hope you have fun down here! I am about an hour away from Talladega.
