Hi Chicken Family!
I have (3) 4.5 month old Buff Orphingtons. 1 of them, Dixie, started laying this week on Monday. She has layed 1 egg everyday since then! I’m so proud of her. They have all been perfect little eggs!
Today I’m getting some larger nest boxes because these milk crates won’t last much longer on these soon to be BIG girls.
Funny thing. Up until a couple of weeks ago I thought she might be a cockerel. She’s bossy and sticks out her chest and tells me how things are gonna be. She’s not even the head lady but she thinks she is!
I love her.
