Why no roosters? I'm not allowed one but I wouldn't choose to have one either so I'm curious as to your reasons.I only keep pets, and recently lost one, so this is my current flock of 7.
1 RIR, 1 Polish, 2 Old English game hens, (banties) Silver Duckwings, 1 Japanese Bantam, and 2 Seramas.
The one I lost was a 4 year old Silver laced Polish. Sister to the one in pix below.

Next week I am adopting another Serama, and another mystery chicken. Reason I say Mystery Chicken, is,,,,,,,,, not sure what that person will have available, and it has to be a hen. (no roosters allowed by me). Will see when I get there.
I always add to my flock in at least 2 chicken increments. This avoids flock pecking on solo newcomer. The Magnificent Dualusually hang together for moral support during integration.
Seramas are an interesting choice. What are they like? I'm not even sure they're available out here.
