Peppercorn is a 4 week old sexed pullet from Meyer Hatchery. Her feather pattern suggests pullet (partridge on wings), but the comb seems red to me for how young she is, and she’s slow to feather which sometimes suggests rooster.

If anyone has experience with this breed/pattern, let me know if this is normal for a pullet, or if the male coloration can come in later.

We can’t have roosters where we live unfortunately, but he/she will be very pretty and I’ll make sure to find a good home if I have to.
