Ok here is one of my keeps from this years breeding. He is from the first hatching and has started crowing.

This is his sister taking earlier in the year. The cockerl was taken today and this one about 3 months ago.

Hi folks. I'm not really sure what this trio is. They were sold to me as Barnevelders but they definitely aren't. They look like partridge rocks but I'm not sure. Hopefully those of you with more experience know.

For what its worth, I see similarities to both breeds. The cockerel and pullet with the dark head/hackles look more like Barnevelder. I wonder if they could be a Partridge Rock/Banevelder cross?

They could possibly be a cross. They certainly don't look like our barnies, the lacing is all wrong. Whatever they are, they'll have to move on to someone else's pen as we just don't have the time or space for extras that don't fit into our program. We pave pure Fossil Rock barnevelders and want to keep it that way

At this time not many are shipping eggs or chicks. It is too cold to do it.

I know just looking to get something lined up so its not a last minute thing trying to find the eggs i want.
