I have ads to pick them up for free. But even then there is no interest. My bantams are no meat birds.

I also offered couples a and one trio (pullet + cockerel) for a very nice price. No interest either.

People here only want bantam pullets.

Do you have a thing like markplaats or Craigs lis in Germany too? Maybe I could put an ad on that then for someone who lives near the border with Arnhem. See if there is someone who has an interest.

Too bad... but I know the feeling! That's why I end up butchering. This year I was lucky enough that most of my roos went to my feed dealer for a breeding program. We are talking 20 roosters!! That is like winning the jack pot over and over!
We sure do have online adds. https://www.kleinanzeigen.de/ used to be ebay free adds... they changed it recently. But it's free.

every bird is meat bird, just less meat. the problem is some people cannot butcher them. I think I mentioned here that 4-5 mo dutch bantam cockerels are good for frying.

Agreed! People do butcher quail which are considerably smaller. You might just have to eat more than one bird for a family.
But, I do believe BDutch does not want to butcher her birds. And I can understand that. Not everybody can deal with it.

The site/app kleinanzeigen is complicated. I need more time to figure out how to make it work.

I do understand that. I still feed 2 splash australorp roos hoping to find good homes for them.

I don't have fb any more. people are interested in australorps but hens or pairs. only if someone lost a roo will look for one.
