One of many reason that low pay jobs are resurfacing in the U.S. is the cheap labor we import from our southern neighbor(s). Another unintended effect of the global economy is the leveling of the playing field, we must lower our standard of living to most of the world or raise it to our standard in order for a global economy to function.

Another president from the great state of Texas saved the country from the Clinton recession, at least in my business so why not give another texan the job.

Rick Perry does not make this the Great State of Texas. My ancestors who fought General Santa Anna for their independance at the Battle of San Jacinto did.
Collecting more debt in his tenure as president than FDR doesnt sound so great about now though.....

I would agree with that it was almost Mexico. I do not know much about your governor but from what I have read he is breaking a lot of long standing records in his political career. He has done some admirable things for the people of Texas.
