Oh CRUD! But CONGRATS on the HATCH!!!

We are ALSO debatating bringing the 10 partrbrahma chicks in from the brooder/coop. That way I wont have to worry about running them with the generator too, plus you cant run the generator 24/7 or you wont have gas! We have a coal stove in the basement and the garage is down there too, so I can leave the door open and keep them warm, but that means I will have to go out and dig some wire up to make a ring for them, then run out for straw and then catch the little buggers :(

If he lived with me, he'd be dinner.

PentaMom! OUCH!! And 5 kids....oh boy!

My Black Orps haven't gone broody, but my Lemon Cuckoo Orps have.

I hope everyone is okay in the storm. It sure was nice to have NewToFarming from GA stop in and wish us well. Everyone have their candles and Parcheesi ready?

Okay, gotta go out and check on everyone again.

This is what I was trying to say before..maybe that the breed as a whole have good Mothering-traits, but that doesn't necessarly mean that all/ every will go-off broody...but I will continue with the research...I'm still interested in the little darlins-(orps)......sorry to barge in, was out-took awhile to "catch-up"..thank you
